Your mission
As a Model-based Systems Engineer you’re responsible for the development and implementation of systems engineering methods and processes, in particular Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) along the whole product development process. Your daily work

Extensive and varied tasks:

This role involves analyzing stakeholder needs managing requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency and traceability between system requirements and system architecture. You will also be tasked with outlining system contexts, use cases, and behavior models, contributing to the implementation of system requirements, user-interface design, and simulation efforts. Furthermore, you will play a critical role in driving the implementation of design to simulation automation and optimization loops, streamlining processes to enhance system performance and efficiency.

 Support and think outside the box
You will work on innovative projects and collaborate with a team from different technical disciplines and industries with the common goal of bringing the technical process into an end-to-end digital thread. You engage with new technologies such as AI, Digital Twin, automation and many more to improve the engineering process.

Connecting the dots
Connecting models from different lifecycle phases and disciplines (Requirements, System Architecture, DMU, Simulation) to ensure consistency and traceability as well as enable automation and optimization. 

Qualifikationen

Who you are 

  •  You have successfully completed your studies in the field of computer science, mathematics or compatible engineering qualification.

  • You have gained practical experience in development, integration, deployment, and operation of a MBSE tool chain (Cameo, Scade, Rhapsody etc.) in aerospace, automotive, rail and/or other industries. 

  • You have experience in Behavior Modeling of complex systems (Simulink, Modelica / Dymola)

  • You bring affinity for programming in Python, C++ or others.

  • Experience in handling requirements & specifications

  • You can take a holistic interdisciplinary view within the product development process.

  • You have strong analytical skills and a results-oriented way of working.

  • You speak fluent English. German skills are an advantage.
