Service Design
Learn how to concept, define, and communicate innovative, multi touch-point service experiences and service ecosystems that include people, physical & digital products, and places.
Interaction Design
Learn how to envisage, define, and communicate the macro & micro user interactions & behaviors of digital products and services that reflect or exceed the expectations of their intended users.
Visual Design
Learn how to interpret or reimagine the client’s brand, services & experiences, in a differentiated and authentic way across multiple service touch points in alignment with overall experience and design strategy.
Business Design
Learn how to establish people-centric business strategies for our clients, fusing the practices of design and strategy to structure the business impact of design at a strategic, operational, and organizational level.
Physical or Digital Product Design
Learn how to conceptualize, design, and prototype innovative screen-based digital experiences that effectively bring to life the values of a brand. Communicate solutions through narratives, storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, physical/3D/immersive prototypes and videos. Help plan and execute user and usability tests to validate and refine the ideal solution.
How it works
The internship is three to six months long, in which time you’ll have the chance to experience at least one client project. You will be part of a multidisciplinary project team and have a personal mentor to help you reach your learning goals during your time with us.

What the internship won’t be
A cheap source of design work. You won’t be asked to make coffee or fix someone else’s PowerPoints.
A guaranteed permanent job. We have many examples of designers who started their career at Song Design on the intern scheme, but it’s not always possible to hire every intern.
An Apprenticeship. We actively encourage applications from all backgrounds, but would expect you to have undergone some level of higher education design training.
A Graduate programme

All interns for our locations in Germany have to be enrolled in university or in a gap year between Bachelor and Master studies.
