The Role
  • We are looking for a seasoned, experienced and agile marketing leader to join the Accenture Strategy Marketing & Communications team. The individual will be the single marketing POC and content strategist for the Accenture Strategy ASG practice and integration point into the local ASG marketing team.
  • This role will require a deep understanding of the technology and business issues driving disruption and opportunity for our clients and shaping a multi-format, cross channel, content based program focused on delivering the Accenture Strategy point of view to help leaders address the evolving and disruptive landscape.
  • The market program will contribute meaningfully to the differentiation of Accenture Strategy.  It will be built on key client and market issues that this person will work to articulate with business leadership.  They will agree tier 1 and 2 markets with those business leaders and work closely with the C-Suite theme campaign leads to bring the integrated marketing program to life. They will have a disciplined commitment to measurable outcomes and insight driven, real time adjustments across multiple format, cross channel promotion and they will excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery programs to agreed outcomes
 
The successful individual will be a very experienced, well rounded marketer with superior communications skills both orally and in writing and a track record of being able to influence without authority across a broad range of senior executive stakeholders and marketing colleagues. They will have a track record of working effectively in new, digitally dominated landscapes where they were expected to continually innovate. They will see themselves as evangelists for the very disciplined, content led approach at the core of our marketing strategy. They will be assertive, articulate and agile in their work style. This is a role for new age marketers who understand the strategic value that marketing can and must be able to deliver to the business as well as being able to recognize and capitalize on opportunities to add value.
 
Responsibilities
 
Manage and execute key Accenture Strategy marketing programs in Germany with key alignment to both global and local market teams.
    • Work with marketing colleagues in the ASG market to identify and articulate alignment opportunities for content delivery and promotion.
    • Deliver on and contribute to the success of the Accenture Strategy marketing plan as defined by ASG leadership and global marketing leadership.
    • Be fluent in the issues underpinning all Accenture Strategy C-suite Themes and be able to triage ideas from other parts of Accenture to be in or out of scope for the planned programs.
    • Build relationships with marketing colleagues across the organization to allow early identification of channels and tactics that will provide premium access opportunities to C-suite targets.
 
 
Excel at the business operations needed to optimize the agile, on time and on budget delivery of each campaign to agreed outcomes.
  • Embrace and enable an analytics mindset
  • Manage and motivate flexible, virtual project teams of marketing colleagues, writers, agencies and shared service members in a hard charging and outcome oriented environment.
  • Managing the program budgets, including quarterly budget forecasts
  • Managing campaign-specific, monthly and quarterly metrics reporting for the campaigns
Reporting
The role will report to a member of the Accenture Strategy Marketing & Communications Leadership team.
 
 
 
Experience/Skills/Education
  • Significant experience working in global, highly matrixed organizations:
    • Solid track record working with multiple, global stakeholders in English and German
    • Very strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Interest in/ability to absorb and form/articulate sharp perspectives on a broad range of business issues
    • University degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field 
  • Ability to sell internally and manage very strong internal stakeholders
  • Minimum 10 years B2B marketing  experience
    • B2B social media and innovative digital marketing experience
    • Strong track record in driving highly targeted multi-channel campaigns
    • Strong inclination towards using metrics as a guide to campaign efficacy
  • Previous experience developing non-academic, crisp, sharp content
    • Native/bi-lingual or fluent English
    • Exceptional spoken and written communication skills
  • Self-starter, driven, highly motivated
 
Preferred/Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • master’s degree in business/MBA
