    Overview of Responsabilities

    The AEM Sites Experience Strategist is a key member of the AEM Platform Strategy team within the Marketing Capabilities & Agency Services team which is part of the broader Marketing + Communications (M+C) Intelligent Services group.  Within M+C, this role ensures that our marketing teams are operating at world class levels and consistently innovating and improving to remain best-in-industry. 

    For our external-facing website (AEM Sites); the team manages our technology roadmap for the marketing and recruitment elements of the website; the oversight and evolution of the website user interface, features and functionality. Collectively, the team drives the evolution of to enable our stakeholders, or “content owners,” to tell our company’s story online, creating deeper relationships with our target audiences of current and potential clients, jobseekers, media and investors. As the AEM Sites Experience Strategist you will lead the AEM Sites Solution Strategist.

    The AEM Sites Experience Strategist role is focused on maximizing the effectiveness of our corporate website, which also includes recruitment, newsroom, and investor relation site sections. The role is critical in stitching together teams, stakeholders and vendors to understand the robust business and functional requirements of each section of the site. You will partner with the Digital Strategy team as they reinvent our web strategy and help define, and refine, the optimal user experience strategy within the site section, page template elements and site (and page/template) features and functionality. You will understand and play a role in the determination of the design system capabilities and functional parameters and assist in steering component development. The AEM Experience Strategist will also collaborate with Site Publishing team to make sure the website meets the needs of the daily publishing team, and partners with CIO to guarantee the smooth operation of the website and its associated functions (content supply chain, search, job postings, personalization, audio/video, etc.)

    The AEM Sites Experience Strategist will work closely with various M+C stakeholders, including the following teams: Brand, Accenture Internal Agency (Canvas), global content delivery, CIO, Digital Strategy, functional and geo marketing, external agencies, content owners, and digital leads to deliver a best-in-class site experience, taking full advantage of our design system.

    The AEM Sites Experience Strategist is instrumental in ensuring that our digital presence meets the high expectations of our customers. You are responsible for defining and executing strategies that optimize the use of Adobe Experience Manager and related technologies to deliver exceptional digital experiences to our customers. This role combines expertise in AEM, digital marketing, and customer experience strategy to ensure that our digital assets and campaigns align with business goals and user expectations by harnessing the power of AEM and related technologies to deliver personalized, engaging, and effective digital experiences that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.



    • Minimum 5 years combined experience in marketing operation, execution and capabilities

    • Extensive experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementation and management, focus on Sites

    • Expertise in the understanding of including modular or atomic design for websites, designing across view and headless CMS framework

    • Expertise with process flows and workflow design

    • Expert skills in written and oral communication (English), storytelling, presentation, problem solving, critical thinking and the ability to communicate between technical and non-technical audiences

    • Expertise in leading teams, delegating responsibilities and providing actionable feedback

    • Strong understanding of online usability and best practices

    • Strong understanding of online publishing and content management systems, with a focus on Adobe Experience Manager

    • Deep understanding of Agile development methodology and DevOps practices

    • Familiarity with web page loading speed benchmarks

    • Familiarity with website analytics and ability to analyze and interpret analytic reports

    • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, user experience (UX), and content strategy

    • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • General problem-solving capabilities—ability to propose solutions to identified issues

    • Strong listening skills with ability to understand leadership priorities and requirements

    • Strong Microsoft Suite knowledge and ability, especially Excel, Word, PPT. Experience with workflow and production tools a (Workfront,, etc.)

    • Aptitude for effective collaboration in a cross functional work environment; experiences working with global teams across time zones

    Key Responsibilities

    • Be detail-oriented and process-driven focused to create agile, repeatable, and scalable frameworks to deliver results 

    • Partner with Digital Strategy and content creators to develop and execute content strategies that align with AEM capabilities, ensuring consistent and engaging messaging across digital channels

    • Collaborate with development teams, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution

    • Collaborate with content owners and external agencies on special projects and campaigns involving

    • Advise and guide marketers on design system capabilities and functional parameters

    • Collaborate with Brand and Accenture Creative teams on design evolution, and new initiatives

    • Guide the design evolution including enhancements, roadmap, and revisions, and refining standards accordingly

    • Champion design system and team, and develop guidance, explainers, and examples content for stakeholders

    • Drive the integration of the brand purpose designs, ascertain technical and business rules, and create related guidance

    • Respond to design system queries, advise on / approve exceptions, and use the queries to guide future enhancements and resources

    • Reviews of new web pages to ensure correct use of our online design system

    • Collaborate with M+C stakeholders and CIO on major technology initiatives

    • Answering questions from content owners on design system dos and don’ts as well we the website’s functional parameters.

    • Lead a team and enable their career growth
