Be part of a multi-disciplinary team of Data Scientists, Solution Architects, and people with very diverse but specific skills such as UX, storytelling, Data Visualization, Python Scripting and deep-industry knowledge. Contribute as a core team member driving end-to end change and results for our clients. We are looking for an out-of-the-box thinker, passionate about innovation and agile development.
The candidate will work directly with Senior Finance Leadership (FBM) to help them with their presentations to leadership (primarily non-Finance). This process involves understanding the audience, collaborating with finance leaders, creating/outlining narratives, and creating visualizations to support the narrative in a compelling way (primarily in PPT).
The work is project based which provides diversity in the type of work that is done. This role also provides opportunity to gain exposure to top leadership through relationships that are formed during projects.
The storytelling team is part of a broader team called Data Analytics and Storytelling which is doing some of the most innovative predicative modeling and reporting in the firm. The team includes resources with skills as data scientists, data experts, and graphic designers. The team collaborates together of many other projects as well.
Requisitos
• 10 years of experience in finance, working with enterprise level heterogeneous data environment and data visualization tools
• Self-starter that is proactive and can operative in a sometimes undefined project driven environment.
• The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with finance leaders
• Strong MS PowerPoint skills
• Strong financial acumen
• Good sense of graphic design and visual data storytelling
• Detail oriented, organized, exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Passion for work, tolerance for ambiguity in a fast paced setting, and a positive attitude
• Have strong people and presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and in Spanish.
• Power BI skills a plus
• Articulate findings clearly and concisely, and create data-driven content with unique narratives for target use cases, including through presentations, design solution, visualizationUnderstand, analyze and convert business metrics to technology solutions using data-driven visual stories and data visualization tool.
• An advisor for data delivery team and the business, enabling insight that can empower better decision-making
• Conceptualize and deliver data visualization solutions solving complex business problems
• Solve data consumption and visualization through data as a service distribution model
• Profound information design and storyteller abilities, curious, resourceful, confident under pressure, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth oriented environment
• Comfortable with an iterative process to continuously improve data visualizations and design based on team feedback
• Collaborate with team members, business teams, IT teams, and other stakeholders to review and refine user stories
• Self-driven, agile and Ability to work independently and on multiple engagements simultaneously
