Job Description

A UX architect helps developed intuitive, interactive and usable experiences for websites and mobile apps. These specialized designers present prototypes and high-fidelity designs to justify and negotiate proposed user interfaces. They’re heavily involved in client requirements analysis, user research, usability testing and test applications throughout the entire product lifecycle, ensuring the improvement of user-centric experiences right up until launch.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses own judgment to determine optimal solution to recommend.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads. Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Primary Responsibilities:

• Possess extensive design portfolios showing high proficiency in content analysis, site mapping and layout sketching.
• Use of graphic programs as Axure, Microsoft Visio, Omnigraffple, Adobe CS5, among others.
• Have a keen grasp of human/computer interaction, content structure and layout design.
• Understand the impact technologies such as XML, HTML, and CSS have on user experience.
• Create and maintain UX guidelines, standards, and development processes for user-centric products.
