Job Description:
As an Airworthiness Engineer at Accenture Industry X, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of our clients’ aircraft fleet. You will be responsible for evaluating and certifying aircraft systems, components, and designs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Airworthiness Certification: Conduct airworthiness assessments and evaluations of aircraft systems, structures, and components to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including FAA/EASA requirements.
Design Review: Review aircraft design proposals, modifications, and engineering drawings to assess their impact on airworthiness and safety. Provide recommendations for design improvements as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of regulatory updates and changes in airworthiness standards and requirements. Interpret and apply regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance throughout the aircraft lifecycle.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain airworthiness documentation, including certification reports, compliance records, and technical data packages. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and traceability of all documentation.
Risk Management: Identify potential safety hazards, risks, and non-conformities related to airworthiness. Develop risk mitigation strategies and corrective actions to address identified issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, certification specialists, and regulatory authorities, to achieve airworthiness objectives and resolve technical challenges.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance airworthiness procedures, practices, and standards. Recommend and implement efficiency-enhancing tools and methodologies.

Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred;
3-5 years of experience in airworthiness engineering or a similar role in the aerospace industry;
Strong knowledge of airworthiness regulations and certification processes, including FAR/CS Part 21, Part 23/25, Part 27/29, etc.;
Experience with aircraft design, systems integration, and structural analysis;
Proficiency in engineering software tools, such as CAD/CAM, FEA, and CFD;
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
