As a Senior / Expert Software Engineer you will play an important role in developing innovative software solutions to create market-leading products for the Aerospace and Defense industry.
You will be part of a broader engineering team and will be asked to coordinate Junior Software Engineers and facilitate their professional development.
In particular, you will be asked to:
Design, Develop and Integrate avionic systems, from the earlier phases to the certification one with the authorities;
Define avionics requirements in accordance with civil and/or military regulations (e.g. EASA, MIL) and with functional contractual requirements;
Be responsible for the deliveryof Software solutions, from functional analysis, development, integration and testing of avionic equipment’s (e.g.: flight control computer);
Apply Model Base System and Software engineering to deliver highly reliable embedded software;
Write and review technical documentation (e.g. Procurement Specification, Interface Control Document, Wiring Diagram, System Design Report, Acceptance Test Procedure, Ground and Flight Test Plan, Ground and Flight Test Report);
Perform analysis of supplier documents (e.g. QTP, QTR, DDP) in order to ensure their conformity with international standards (e.g. DO-160, MIL-STD-810);
Manage the relationship with internal and external stakeholders;
Timely manage risks and issues and assure that proper solution documentation is created, reviewed, approved and stored;
Supervise the activities of junior systems engineers, support them in complex ones, enforce adherence to governance policies, process framework and ways of working and nurture their professional development.
