The Accenture Media Management practice is part of Accenture Operations. A successful, and fast-growing practice, within Accenture. The group has over 250 media experienced professionals working in 28 countries.
We work as an independent consultant with a large portfolio of Italian and International clients and their media agencies to understand the communications strategy and then analyze the efficiency of their media planning and buying. We work across all media (TV, Online, Press, Radio, Outdoor) and are employed to increase accountability and to identify any areas for improvement. Besides, the Media Management scope of work extends to Media Agency pitch management, Media Financial Auditing, PRF and Media Strategic area.
The successful candidate will work as part of an expanding team to design and produce qualitative and quantitative analysis to address the needs of our many and varied clients; the role may include some travels.
As a Media Management Advisory Analyst you will be responsible of the following activities:
Benchmark and media performance analysis (cost and quality) on all media
Media tracking YoY analysis on all media
Management of local and multi-country clients: Italian and international account.
Update of internal databases
Communicating with media agencies to source media campaign data (all media)
Collection of data in a consistent and effective manner
Validate and cleanse campaign data in Excel for all media
Interpreting data in order to fully understand the implications and opportunities derived from it
Production of presentation documents: analysis results, conclusions & recommendations
Support senior consultants in managing clients on various issues: media benchmarking, media strategy, media buying, tools & analytics, productivity tables, support for media
Management of operative activities of the clients assigned
Contribution to group development on topics such as media benchmarking, productivity monitoring, market inflations, YoY performance calculation methodologies.
Management issues related to marketing strategies, media buying and media issues
Able to provide consultancy and improvements on the digital challenges: Programmatic, Search, Social Media, Online Video
2 or 3 years of experience in the same role or in a media/marketing agency with an in-depth knowledge of the Italian media industry.
Detailed knowhow of the media market place and trading practices
Demonstrate a strong understanding of both online and offline media
Rigor, ease with numbers, proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, nested if formulas), pivot tables, Powerpoint
Ability with managing and manipulating large data sets
Analyses and problem-solving skills with high level of numeracy (eye for detail)
Knowledge of Nielsen Arianna software
Highly organized and excellent time management
Ability to multi task, prioritize and meet deadlines to deliver multi-dimensional projects with high level of precision
University Degree, preferred Econimics, Marketing & Communications, Social Communication
Very good level of English (in the process selection is forecast an interview in English)

From what sources will Accenture obtain your personal data?
Accenture may obtain data about you from the following sources:

Who will have access to your personal data? Where are they located?
In general, access to your personal data will be restricted to minimize the number of people in Accenture’s global organization who need it in order evaluate your application for employment, perform functions supporting our Recruiting and Talent Management functions, or to whom we are compelled to provide it by applicable law.
The following categories of individuals will have access to your personal data:
Recruiters working with the country where the position you are applying for is based. Such individuals may be based in a different country;

How long will Accenture retain my personal data?
If you are given and accept an offer of employment by Accenture, personal data collected during your pre-employment period will become part of your Accenture personnel records, to be retained throughout and for a period after your employment with Accenture (specific periods vary by country).
