Security Consulting Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; New York, NY): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Security Consulting Senior Manager in New York, NY, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Deliver, lead, and provide oversight for data security related projects that may include assessing, designing/architecting, building, testing, implementing, and deploying a strategy to a technical solution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to clients and our internal security teams in the areas of data security, encryption, masking, and key management.
  • Assist in project and issue management for key projects.
  • Develop and share key data security assets in support of proposal development, methodology and framework support, and deliverable development.
  • Assist in identifying and supporting new project opportunities in the area of data security with a focus on encryption, masking, and key management.
  • Assist in evaluating new vendor solutions in the area of data security to help in determining alignment to Accenture’s approach for delivering data security services.
  • Develop and enhance current technical skills through continuous research and hands on training.
  • Provide mentoring and counseling to counselees, project team members, peers and colleagues.
  • Interact with client and/or internal leadership regularly.



Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 7 years of experience in Security Consulting. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in Security Consulting.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Working directly with internal and external teams to design and implement program strategies, including data protection and data privacy, data classification, digital rights management, data masking, encryption, or industry or regulatory compliance;
  • Working with security product capabilities across different security domains and multiple security vendors;
  • Working with privacy and data privacy standards and local, domestic, and global regulations;
  • Security and privacy frameworks, compliance (security and privacy) requirements, and security and privacy department planning and operations;
  • Data security and protection, including data encryption, masking, tokenization, key management, data classification, or data discovery;
  • Supporting project opportunities, including solution design, proposal development, and staffing plans;
  • Performing data protection and data privacy risk assessments and creating current state assessment, gap analyses, and strategic implementation roadmaps;
  • Translating technical requirements into business terms for executive stakeholders;
  • Architecting and designing solutions to support security and privacy requirements;
  • Project management and delivering complex projects; and
  • Working with multiple security domains, including data security, network security, infrastructure security, IAM, or incident response.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
