You Are:
A highly skilled Strategist with rich knowledge and experience in the retail industry, with specific expertise in developing innovative strategies, enterprise operating model change, and technology driven transformations. You can provide senior leaders with a perspective on retail industry trends and macro-economic factors as well as provide a comprehensive understanding on how the future of Retail is changing.  As a Retail Strategist you have energy and drive in abundance, along with personal resilience, a passion for serving clients, and a love of continual learning. You have a flair for breaking down ambiguous concepts into logical parts and an aptitude to articulate clearly defined growth pathways.  Communication and people skills? You have both in spades, and as an Accenture executive you are a natural at appreciating diverse perspectives and bringing out the best in teams.

 

The Work: 

  • Develop strategies and blueprints for world-class omni-channel capabilities, store operations, merchandising, product development, supply chain or retail labor productivity strategy solutions that meet the unique market and organizational needs of retail clients.

  • Diagnose root cause problems and recommend solutions leveraging Accenture assets, offerings, and global teams.  

  • Define and articulate the value proposition and business case for retail transformation strategies.

  • Develop and maintain contact with c-level clients, organize and lead proposal pursuit teams, participating and leading all aspects of the business development process.

  • Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client. 

  • Manage small to medium teams of diverse backgrounds, skill sets and technical/functional knowledge. Encourage creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition.

  • Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, and the partnership ecosystem. 

  • Effectively engage with senior-level client executives  

  • Drive business outcomes for large clients 

  • Mentor, advise, and coach team members

 

Travel:  

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.   Please note: The safety and well-being of our people continues to be the top priority, and our decisions around travel are informed by government COVID-19 response directives, recommendations from leading health authorities and guidance from several infectious disease experts.



Qualifications

 

Here’s What You Need:

  • 8+ years of combined project-based corporate and consulting experience, including significant project management experience as well as people development.

  • 6+ years of experience working knowledge in one or more of the following: 1) Retail Strategy and Transformation, 2) Customer Experience, 3) Enterprise Operating Model, 4) Retail Store Operations, or 5) Retail Growth

  • Bachelor’s degree 

 

Bonus Points if:

  • You have an MBA or equivalent graduate degree

  • You can work at the intersection of business and technology demonstrating knowledge and understanding of how retail strategies are enabled through emerging technology

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $111,000 - $261,199 and information on benefits offered is here.
