Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Philadelphia, PA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Philadelphia, PA to perform programming and technical design according to project standards, as well as implement and test configuration and code changes to meet functional and technical requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: actively participate in the requirements, design and construction phases and ensure the successful delivery of the project from a high-level technical perspective; collaborate with business analysts to clarify application requirements; translate functional design into technical specifications such as program flow diagrams and translate technical specifications into program code; design the database as per the functional requirements; work along with the development team to prepare the stub data to test the application in development environment; analyze the existing architecture of solution to identify the area of improvement to enhance the operational efficiency; write custom utilities which reduces code redundancy and improve its quality; write unit and integration tests to achieve code coverage of more than 90%; identify the technical cause and potential impacts of errors; implement coding or configuration changes and update documentation for application as code changes are applied; prepare test plans and test data for assigned work; perform L3 production support in case of any production issue; and guide technical team for design/solutioning at onsite and offshore as needed.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field. The position also requires 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Team Lead, Analyst Programmer, Senior Programmer, Associate Software Engineer or in a related IT position, including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in technologies such as C#, Dot Net, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) and WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) to understand the Project business logic; 5 years of experience in Relational Database Management System such as SQL Server to provide L3 production support and it helps in creating performance optimized Stored Procedures; 4 years of experience in messaging system such as Apache Kafka or Apache Active MQ to support current architecture which is disconnected in nature; 4 years of experience in skills such as Angular and WebAPI to support web platform; 2 years of experience with tools such as Rally, JIRA and HP QC to gather and analyze requirements from the end user; and 2 years of experience with Microsoft tools such as Visual Studio, TFS and Bitbucket which help in coding and submitting the code in the server.
