Job Description

The Facilities Team Captain is responsible for coordinating all aspects of workplace maintenance & housekeeping in Accenture’s customer service driven corporate office.This role will provide leadership and direction in matters related to facility operations and scope/quality of services.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing the cleaning and maintenance duties of workplace employees.

  • Requires analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems.

  • Interaction is with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors

  • Works as a business partner with the Office Services Lead, overseeing maintenance projects and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Strong focus on hospitality and customer service

  • Comfortable assisting with any workplace position and showcasing a willingness to help wherever needed

  • Plan and manage operations and delivery of services

  • Provide leadership, direction, development and employee supervision within the areas of responsibility

  • Manage relationships with internal leadership and stakeholders

  • Develop and manage contract relationships with external service providers

  • Lead workgroup of 2+ to achieve the appropriate level of external, and internal customer satisfaction

  • Execute/oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and unscheduled repairs of infrastructure and equipment

  • Execute/oversee the activities required to ensure interiors are of a sufficient standard as defined by Accenture policies and standards

  • Execute/oversee the purchasing, maintenance and disposal of company Workplace assets, in line with Accenture and local policy

  • Execute/oversee the delivery of cleaning services within the facility, managing the relationship with the vendor and ensuring standards for cleanliness are adhered to

  • Support the day to day management of a Workplace commodity

  • Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure service standards are being met

  • Receiving and prioritizing workorders while ensuring quality control

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of all areas of the workplace including but not limited to, open workspaces, enclosed offices and meeting spaces, pantries, restrooms, reception areas, and receiving areas

  • Conducting physical maintenance, and housekeeping inspections

  • Directing general construction, installation, and repair of all electrical, mechanical and architectural systems throughout the facility to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and cleanliness

  • Assists in the execution of capital projects and property rehabilitations 

  • Consistently orders and maintains inventory of all necessary cleaning and maintenance products

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in facilities administration

  • Minimum of 3 yrs facilities maintenance in a hospitality or professional setting

  • Minimum of 3 yrs of building maintenance experience.

  • GED or High school Diploma

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College degree preferred

  • Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification preferred

  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems such as, but not limited to, painting, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, fire detection, air conditioning BMS System

  • Comfortable with technology and Audio-Visual set ups (advanced skills a plus)

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Outlook

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)

  • Full availability to work 9am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday, and occasionally outside of these hours. 

  • Passionate about customer service

  • Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $48,600 - $94,700 and information on benefits offered is here.
