The work:

PeopleSoft Financial Developer / Technical Consultant will be responsible for PeopleSoft development, administration associated with the PeopleSoft Financials applications. 

You are:

  • Software documentation, design, and development of custom and modified: People Code, Application Engine, nVision using Application Designer, SQR and other PeopleSoft delivered reporting tools and PeopleSoft Admin tasks as well as MS SQL based custom Business Intelligence reporting solution. 
  • Investigating and resolving issues reported by end users. 
  • Designing, developing, and implementing additional functionality requested by end users. 
  • Applying fixes and patches released by Oracle/Microsoft Office/Third party tools used by PeopleSoft, WebLogic, Tuxedo and JDK.  
  • Testing resolutions and patches before they are migrated to production. 
  • Upgrading the PeopleSoft application. 
  • Refresh Development databases with copy of production as needed.
  • Creating additional database and application instances as needed. 
  • Skilled in Database administration tasks.
  • Managing/supporting the monthly OS level Non-Production/Production patch testing.
  • Support the Business intelligence reporting solution with ability to:
  • Design tables and schemas based on business requirements.
  • Manage data with Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
  • Maintain technical design documentation, source-to-target mapping documents and job schedule documents.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ year as a PeopleSoft Technical developer
  • Skilled in the following:  PeopleSoft, PSQuery, SQL, RDBMS
  • Must be proficient in one or more of the following: general IT skills, expertise in Application Designer, People Tools, People Code, Application engine, query engine, PS security, SQR, SQL, Tree design and maintenance

Bonus points if you have:

  • PeopleSoft Administration Skill is a plus but not necessary.  
  • Microsoft SQL Server (Transact-SQL Scripting)
  • Understanding of the tables and fields used in GL, KK, AR, PO & AP
