Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of an Application Development Manager in Chicago, IL to work with clients to gather requirements, document project objectives, business processes, and make the appropriate recommendations. S/he will perform the following duties: perform analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of the software application components ; develop new web applications using Office 365 SharePoint Online, Azure, React JS, Angular, .Net, and SQL Server technologies ; plan, analyze and perform cloud migration, solution architecture, and administration of SharePoint applications; design and develop automation tools leveraging Microsoft Azure AI and Power Platform solutions; identify and assess complex problems and create solutions that will be implemented by the team; lead the team and implement the solutions to meet the business requirements; collaborate with team members, provide SME support, and make sure all maintenance/support operations activities are in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs); develop technical specifications based on functional requirements; create system and end user documentations for the applications and upload it to client environment; act as a point of contact for technical expertise for team members and guide them with solution/approach, resolve queries/challenges; ensure that Client Data Protection (CDP) Security Controls are monitored regularly to maintain client data security; monitor the performance of project team members and provide performance feedback ; conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management and adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer and Associate Consultant or in a related IT position including the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in developing and architecting of SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, and SharePoint Online applications; 4 years of experience in migration (using Sharegate/Metalogix/AvePoint), administration, and maintenance of applications in SharePoint; 3 years of experience in writing code in the following languages/frameworks: React JS, Angular, TypeScript, Knockout, jQuery and SPFx framework; 3 years of experience in preparing technical design, deployment, and end user documentation; 2 years of experience in at least two of the following technologies: Azure, .Net, SQL Server, Power Apps and Power Automate.
Telecommuting is permitted; needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
