As Experience Designer at Accenture Interactive you will be part of a talented team of creative artists responsible for creating transformative digital experiences across multiple touch points including websites, portals, mobile applications and paid channels in the life sciences sector.  


The Work:  

  • Take a user and human-centered design approach to uncover the problems to solve and devise elegant digital experiences, interfaces, and solutions. 

  • Engage with and support our project team to prep for and conduct co-creation sessions. 

  • Promote best practices in UX, UI, interaction design, visual design, and accessibility. 

  • Interpret high level requirements, ideas, and goals, and translate them into intuitive user experiences while taking user needs, brand guidelines, and technical realities into account. 

  • Create design artifacts and deliverables such as personas, user interaction flows, journey maps, wireframes, site maps, UI kits, prototypes, design guidelines, and high-fidelity responsive designs. 

  • Present concepts clearly and effectively. 

  • Iterate designs based on user and stakeholder feedback, insights, evolving requirements, and platform capabilities.  

  • Support and collaborate with the team on user research and testing, interpret findings and translate insights into opportunities. 

  • Work closely with development teams to ensure designs are implemented as intended.

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • 3 + years in digital design or equivalent. 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. 

  • Familiarity with design trends and ability to apply modern and contemporary stylistic interface approaches to creative concepts and deliverables. 

  • Understanding of design principles, like typography, aesthetics, balance and space.  

  • An interest in life sciences, the pharmaceutical industry, and creating digital experiences for patients, and health care professionals. 

  • Portfolio demonstrating UX process, design for digital, and work examples

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Qualifications

  • Experienced in both traditional and emerging channels. 

  • Proficient in digital interface design and prototyping software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Sketch, InVision, Figma or similar. 

  • Experienced presenting to, explaining rationale behind design decisions, and gaining buy-in across clients and stakeholders. 

  • Understanding of and experience with user research and methodologies. 

  • Familiarity with designing within regulated industries – ideally pharmaceutical or MedTech. 

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only, but following the pandemic you will be expected to attend period meetings on the West Coast, particularly in the Seattle region.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $75,600 - $122,799 and information on benefits offered is here.
