Overview of North America (NA) Marketing + Communications 


The North America Marketing + Communications team shapes and activates marketing and communications strategies across the marketing lifecycle that fuel growth for Accenture’s $20B+ North American market (United States and Canada).  Its cross-functional team drives category brand positioning in the North American market, curates end-to-end client experiences to drive the local growth agenda, empowers and positions Accenture’s leaders, and engages and inspires the company’s North American people, recruits and alumni. It positions Accenture in the heart of local innovation, business and technology communities and champions programs for equality, inclusion and diversity within Accenture North America and the communities it serves. 
 
YOUR ROLE: Accenture Strategy Marketing and Communications Lead—Content & Research, Brand & Positioning


Working as part of the Accenture Strategy M+C leadership team within Strategy & Consulting M+C, you would be responsible for creating and delivering strategic marketing programs and narratives which support a consistent and differentiated voice in the market as we address the CEO and C-suite executives in Accenture’s top client base. Team building and collaboration across other Accenture M+C is key, as many Strategy campaigns are shared with Industries, Functions and other Accenture Services.

As the Accenture Strategy Marketing and Communications Lead—Content & Research, Brand & Positioning, you get to work closely with the business leads, as well as M+C colleagues across the company, to conceive, develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that maintain our dominant awareness, reinforce our positioning in the market, create compelling experiences for our clients, and support opportunity development and sales.

  • Work with business and marketing leaders to set strategic direction and goals and lead the development of thought leadership., while understanding the business strategy and working closely with Functions multiservice offerings leads.

  • Define and shape integrated, global, high-impact marketing campaigns that that are locally relevant. These campaigns should raise awareness of Accenture Strategy, achieve a dominant share of voice, position and differentiate the business in a compelling way, provide clients with the thought leadership they value in formats and via channels which they prefer, build strong relationships with these clients, and help the business create and secure sales opportunities.

  • Plan and execute a thought leadership program that helps meet marketing’s and the business’ goals. Develop and publish compelling, differentiated content, in all relevant formats, that meets a high professional standard, is consistent with and draws on Accenture’s central content, and drives your marketing effort lower down the sales funnel.

  • Work with Accenture Research to ensure all research reflects the competitively differentiated perspectives and needs and priorities of the business.

  • Capitalize on all available formats and channels (particularly digital and including social and search) to achieve maximum campaign impact and cost efficiency while providing clients with an optimal experience.

  • Orchestrate Leading in Social program for a senior Strategy leader in close collaboration with Social Media team.

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the Enterprise Strategy blog on the Functions blog platform, working closely with the Blog Editor in Chief to manage and balance the voice of our senior leaders in an agile and timely way.

  • Collaborate across the Accenture ecosystem (teams from other Accenture services, industries, functions and geographies) to always bring the best of One Accenture to our clients in a consistent, integrated way.

  • Structure and manage all marketing campaigns in such a way as to ensure they are measurable. Take advantage of the insights gained from these and earlier campaigns to optimize our client experiences and maximize impact by continuously testing and learning.

  • Work with the Campaign Management team to provide briefs, strategies, and budgets for go-to-market execution. Identify the KPIs by which campaigns will be measured and set impact goals for each campaign.

  • Lead a team of marketers, creating a compelling vision for them and helping them develop through coaching, mentoring and setting an example.

  • As a member of the Strategy M+C Leadership Team, exemplify the ability to lead through change, drive commercial impact through innovative programs, help set an inspiring tone and vision for the team, and drive operational excellence (budget, people, process management, metrics, reporting).

  • Lead Strategy positioning and visual presence in the One Accenture across the business, ensuring Strategy’s differentiation in the market, with our people, and with our potential recruits.

  • Lead M+C Integrated Planning for Strategy, ensuring Strategy’s integration into the most relevant campaigns across the Networks, and identifying areas where Strategy will lead campaigns on behalf of the rest of the company.

  • Provide continuity across Strategy M+C’s integration into the Enterprise Function Networks as the overall lead.

  • Equip, enable and encourage internal stakeholders to deeply understand and clearly and consistently articulate Accenture’s value proposition for our clients. Plan and implement an ongoing People Engagement campaign that keeps them informed about all available content and where it can be accessed, as well as any other relevant information (e.g. webinars, virtual communities, etc.), and encourages them to use it effectively.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years professional services and B2B Marketing experience. 


Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $139,500 - $194,899 and information on benefits offered is here.
