Application Development Specialist (Accenture LLP; San Francisco, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Specialist in San Francisco, CA to provide Level 1,2,3 technical support to YouTube enterprise partners using YouTube Application Programming Interface/s (API) in their application. S/he will perform the following duties: provide support through public (issues tracker) and internal (via support email) channels; review application issues raised by enterprise partners, validate understanding of the problem and gather required technical logs needed for investigating the issues; troubleshoot and recreate issues to gain additional insights and validate if reported issues are working as intended or can be a product bug or feature request; communicate with enterprise partners and product engineering team the analysis and/or updates, escalate to client stakeholders to ensure appropriate support is received by the enterprise partner; collaborate via email and/or phone and chat as needed with enterprise partners and product engineering team members; identify, create and maintain support tools, as needed in the operations. Tools are normally based on Chrome extension; report support performance and issue trends identified on a weekly basis to client stakeholders.
This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Technical Support, Product Support Lead or Customer Support or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in Technical Platform (Java, Android, iOS), leveraged in technical troubleshooting of YouTube Application Programming Interfaces (APIs); 5 years of experience in analyzing issues/logs and understanding application architecture; 5 years of experience in communicating technical analysis to Client Product Engineering Team and end customer, providing appropriate details and insights on bugs and/or feature requests; 5 years of experience in building applications integrating YouTube Application Programming Interfaces; 5 years of experience in facilitating technical triaging sessions with stakeholders, driving prioritization of issues; 5 years of experience in Customer/Product Support, managing user experience and addressing issues and escalations from end customer.
Telecommuting is permitted for this role; need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
