The Lodging Accounting Service Team Lead will build and maintain client relationships both internally and externally. Proactively engage key stakeholders and provide oversight with an innovative mindset to current and or future projects. Communicate effectively while responding to escalations. Assist as required with audit oversight and requests as required during the busy season. As required, assist with various finance and accounting governance for client general accounting. This position reports to the SDO Associate Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and solutions, as required, to the accounting team per the Client’s control policies, standard operating procedures and narratives

  • Provide Client support and expertise as new technologies or existing processes are modified while helping to define and document accounting processes for new initiatives that are introduced

  • Navigate Client escalations and assist in problem solving

  • Participate and stay closely involved and informed with financial month-end close activities for Client

  • Shared responsibility of the oversight of the reconciliation and management of open insurance claims and CA Tourism process related to the Client

  • Assist with timely response to audit requests, while following Client standards for audits and compliance with control narratives when required

  • Assist with managing the assignment of the requests and tracking these requests in order to provide data analytics when required

  • Assist with report out to the SDO Associate Manager, providing regular status updates of all audit requests that are open, in progress or closed

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of finance and accounting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Innovative mindset with accounting acumen.

  • Finance & Accounting and/or Audit experience

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Hospitality industry experience

  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, Quickbase.

  • Experience in client delivery, including project timeline management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Work independently in ever-changing environment

  • Identify problems and provide solutions.

  • Reconciliation experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Must be adaptable, resourceful, and comfortable managing expectations.

  • Client Relationship management - internal/external

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.

Colorado                    $63,200 to $133,700

New York                   $58,500 to $154,800
