You Are:

Accenture is seeking an Implementation Lead with a focus on fostering distribution programs or engaging new service providers. This role entails taking charge as a third-party facilitator to guide and manage the procedures involved in onboarding a new supplier on behalf of our clients.

The Implementation Lead will be tasked with spearheading and orchestrating the incorporation of suppliers involved in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) or Technical Services domains. This encompasses overseeing the processes and systems relevant to the suppliers within the client's organizational structure. The position requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous project timeline management, and ensuring the seamless assimilation of suppliers into the client's operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for the implementation of suppliers into a client’s processes and systems

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from various departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to ensure successful implementation within specified deadlines

  • Analyze current client processes and identify areas for improvement

  • Develop strategies to optimize suppliers and implement best practices to enhance overall operational efficiency

  • Utilize data analytics tools to track progress on systematic changes (vendor, pricing, master data, etc.)

  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, presenting findings to relevant stakeholders

  • Establish a formal a Continuous Improvement program to align suppliers and stakeholders to cost savings goals and objectives and monitor progress to contractual commitments

  • Establish a mechanism for reporting and managing spend compliance to the awarded suppliers

  • Develop and deliver communications for impacted employees tailored to their roles to inform them of the change management

  • Facilitate change management processes to ensure a smooth transition to new the suppliers

  • Pursue and develop senior level stakeholder relationships

  • Participate in new business development opportunities related to implementations

  • May include leading sourcing projects, including all key steps such as strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations and supplier contract execution, leveraging Accenture’s approach to drive efficiency in execution

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in consulting, sourcing/procurement/supply chain management function

  • Minimum of 3 years of strategic sourcing, category management, and/or professional industry experience related to Industrial Operations spend categories such as Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO); Facilities Services; Technical Services; Construction and Engineering Services; Equipment

Bonus Points:

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the implementation of MRO or technical services suppliers, processes and/or systems

  • Project management certification in Agile Project Management and Lean Six Sigma

  • Strong understanding of maintenance and repair operations in an industrial or manufacturing setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams

  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques

  • Ability to lead and motivate teams towards achieving project goals

  • Ability to drive transformational change

  • Strong critical thinker, self-starter who can take initiative with high-level direction and deliver client work with minimal supervision

  • Passion for continuous self-learning

  • Proven analytical skills in terms of numeric (e.g., excel spreadsheets, data visual applications) and text based (e.g., reading terms and conditions) analysis, converting information into tangible recommendations to clients 

  • Strong ability to effectively manage in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal and client stakeholders

  • Ability to self-manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a shared service delivery model

  • Interest in developing solution-oriented selling skills to prospective clients

Travel:

This position requires the ability to travel approximately 50% to deliver on-site implementations at our clients' sites.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below.
