You Will:

Lead the AFS Litigation and Investigations team in accordance with industry best practices. Protect the company from financial and reputation risk by: managing and directing litigation and significant disputes, government and corporate investigation matters; providing counsel on laws affecting government contractors, including those related to contractor integrity, data breaches, data protection and False Claims Act; regularly interacting with and reporting to AFS leadership; providing remediation recommendations and trend information to Legal Leadership and partnering with them to implement program enhancements; collaborating with other AFS Legal function leads; and interacting with Accenture Legal. 

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage litigation matters, including bid protests and third-party litigation
  • Supervise and conduct government and corporate investigations
  • Manage direct reports with responsibility for litigation/investigations/subpoena response and for Cyber compliance
  • Direct certain employee relations investigations
  • Manage and supervise outside counsel, including managing budgets and work plans
  • Work closely with corporate communications and government relations
  • Manage e-discovery and data preservation activities and underlying processes, procedures, and legal obligations
  • Develop and present training to key programs and executives to comply with best practices


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate
  • Experience as a litigator in a law firm, corporation or prosecutor's office
  • Excellent judgment and ability to drive fair resolutions in a civil business litigation context
  • Experience with federal government investigations
  • Experience performing internal or corporate investigations and implementing appropriate remediations
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others and manage teams in complex litigation or investigations matters
  • Experience managing outside counsel

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10+ years relevant experience practicing law
  • Sound business judgment; experience litigating bid protests.
  • Experience representing U.S. federal government contractors or working in a highly regulated field
  • Ability to shape a positive, collaborative working environment



An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
