Application Development Manager  – Oklahoma City, OK

Job Desription:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Oklahoma City, OK to develop, design, support and maintain the RPA software products/tools and/or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.  S/he will perform the following duties: analyze business user need and create automation solutions; plan development activities, assign task, track and monitor progress of development – in line with timings and milestones; set and implement processes, coding standards, security processes, design models; performance management – review team goals, provide feedback; manage stakeholders – customer business and IT team, understand their expectations, review deliverables with them and secure sign-offs; review technical architecture, ensure design practices are followed and implemented; partner with testing team to ensure application/components are fully functional; build and leverage reusable code libraries for future use; partner with customer business team for User Acceptance testing; and oversee defect fixes or performance problems discovered in testing. Along with the project management responsibilities, the role requires execution of other managerial responsibilities: including  managing the overall financials of the project to ensure the Contract controllable Income is met, and the costs on the project are balanced and optimized; managing the project demands and ensuring evaluation and fulfilment of right candidates; building and managing the client relationship; managing the performance of the team-members including hiring and firing responsibility; bring in the right expertise and skills required to help the client and project as needed.

This position requires international travel approximately 75% of an average work week.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience as Software Developer/Engineer, IT Project Manager, or closely related IT positions. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in managing large scale applications/projects, including project financials and project budget; 3 years of experience in managing project development lifecycle starting from initiation, planning through closure; 3 years of experience in performing stakeholder management, team management, communication and change management; 3 years of experience working in at least one of these automation tools – Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Ui Path, Microsoft Automation tools; 5 years of experience utilizing Microsoft technologies including 3 or or more of the following tools in .Net, SQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, SharePoint, Azure, and Angular; 5 years of experience using at least one of the following tools – VSTS, TFS, Git, Azure Service Fabric Tools; and 3 years of experience applying knowledge of testing, manual and automation using automation tools.
