What you will do as a Test Automation Engineer?

• Analyze and identify suitable opportunities for test automation
• Design automation components/modules that can be leveraged across multiple test scripts/cases
• Develop automation components/modules using appropriate tools and programming languages
• Develop automation components/modules using parameterized data from an external source (i.e., Excel)
• Adhere to project standards and processes to ensure consistent and maintainable automation deliverables
• Execute test automation script/cases, identify/log issues, and provide support during issue resolution process
• Leverage best practices and available automation frameworks to reduce automation maintenance
• Support design, development, and maintenance of automation frameworks which are leveraged across multiple resources
• Support test automation solution planning and estimation

Qualifications

What we are looking for?

  • 2-4 years of experience working in the software development life cycle
  • 2-4 years of client/customer interaction experience
  • 2-4 years of Quality Assurance/Testing experience (application, product, system, regression testing)
  • 2-4 years of experience with automated testing tools (Worksoft Certify, HP UFT/BPT, Tricentis Tosca, or Selenium framework)
  • 2-4 years of experience with a programming language (VB, VBScript, Java, C#, Ruby, Python)


Preferred Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting
  • Experience conducting automation tools analysis, recommendation, and selection
  • Experience supporting test automation assessments for multiple projects
  • Experience mobilizing and managing test automation projects (tools, resources, & processes)
  • Experience developing automation frameworks that are leveraged across multiple resources

 

 

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
