Job Description:
 
Security professionals develop and deliver solutions that protect enterprise systems, applications and data by establishing policies, practices and tools that prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification or disruption. The Strategy & Policy focuses on enhancing Accenture’s policies and standards as a basis for driving information security implementation. As a Summer Analyst in Information Security your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you can expect to:
 
  • Contribute to a global network of talented IT consultants across the business, enabling high-performance by creating and delivering Accenture’s business applications and technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate and innovate to connect our people with the technology they need to build market relevant skills and be impactful to the business.
  • Assist in development and testing of new business processes, capabilities, and, as appropriate, their supporting technologies

Qualifications

Your Experience: Basic Qualifications
Accenture Analysts are forward-thinking, well-rounded people with a record of outstanding academic performance and high learning agility. We’re looking for individuals who can work in an open and entrepreneurial way.
 
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject area with an expected graduation date between December 2020 – August 2021
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s with an expected graduation date between December 2020 and August 2021
  • Preferred Majors:
    • Computer Science / Computer Engineering or similar Engineering degree
    • Information Assurance
    • Information Security / Cyber Security
    • Management Information Systems / Information Technology
 
Preferred Skills
  • High-level knowledge of laws related to computer intrusions and data privacy requirements
  • Risk evaluation, technology research associated with cyber security risks
  • Cyber security governance
  • Detail-oriented
  • Cloud security, information security strategy, cyber security policy knowledge
  • Data Privacy
  • Windows 2000 – Windows 7
  • Understanding of data networking and computer hardware 
  • Ability to manipulate and present data using MS Excel and Power Point
 
Job Requirements
  • Must complete 10-12 week summer analyst program in Chicago office (typically begin in early June and end in mid/late August)
