Corporate Functions – Marketing & Communications

As part of this team, you’ll play a key role in helping Accenture execute its strategy. You’ll work with a diverse team of innovative marketing experts who focus on the following areas: global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; internet marketing; recruitment marketing; client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns.

 

YOUR ROLE: Corporate Initiatives


Associate Director focused on strategy, integrated communications and editorial leadership for Accenture’s responsible business, corporate citizenship and corporate reputation initiatives.

 

  • Support a cross-functional team dedicated to increasing awareness, engagement and understanding of Accenture’s commitment to corporate responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with senior team members across our global team to shape ideas and narratives that align with Accenture’s strategic messages and themes.
  • Identify connection points across all our initiatives in order to develop overarching strategic storylines.
  • Supervise, write and edit of a wide variety of materials, including key messages, executive communications, articles for leading business journals and news releases.
  • Provide editorial direction of our 40-60 page annual corporate citizenship report.
  • Contribute to media relations strategy, planning and execution.
  • Contribute to the center of excellence for our corporate awards and rankings program – a portfolio of 160+ annual opportunities – responsible for strategy, approach, curation and ensuring consistent execution from application development to promotion worldwide.
  • Support and inform strategies for corporate reputation, corporate citizenship as well as inclusion, diversity and equality on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Work Experience: Minimum 12 years of marketing and communications experience with a track record for high performance.

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills

  • Professional services, B2B marketing and communications or public relations agency experience a must.
  • Integrated strategic planning.
  • Long and Short Form Content creation, Storytelling, People management, Project management.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial skills – ability to produce compelling content individually as well as effectively provide direction to others to achieve desired results.
  • Deep knowledge of core marketing communications and editorial essentials, including strategic message development, executive communications and AP style writing.

Professional Skills

  • Maintain a consistent level of high quality across all written work.

  • Strong teaming and collaboration skills.

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple assignments simultaneously while collaborating with a team of marketing and communications professionals, including contractors and third-party vendors.

  • Able to work effectively – and at speed – across functional and geographic groups.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Proven writing, editorial and executive communications skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
