Primary Responsibilities

 

*Closely monitor the end to end ingestion process for video on demand (VOD) assets onto the client platform. This includes identifying and correcting issues with Avails and XML files

*Perform targeted VOD asset playback checks on a variety of platforms/devices e.g. does the content play, is the quality good, is the audio in sync with the video

*Management of the entire VOD catalogue using CMS – publishing/de-publishing content (including content takedowns)

*Escalate any issues to third party content providers (CPs) as required

*Produce and send communications / reporting to the client

*Logging any incidents that do occur in a ticketing tool

*Ensure documentation of trouble shooting steps is updated to the latest version of issue resolutions 

*Ownership of incidents and ensuring action is taken and followed up for immediate service resolution

Qualifications

Basic Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a professional, corporate, or military setting
  • Minimum 6 months experience with software for office productivity including MS Outlook
  • Ability to work holidays and weekends, including rotating shifts

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in entertainment or related industries
  • Active Social Media presence
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Experience with confidential information collection and management
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for ensuring a world class user support experience
  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
  • Strong attention to detail, results-oriented, self-directed, and inquisitive
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple projects, assignments and/or responsibilities
  • Ability to remain neutral and review work as defined by policies and procedures and keeping personal bias aside.
  • Understanding of ticketing systems & responsible for escalating identified issues to either client or third parties
  • Experience of working with standard operating procedures & defined process guidelines
  • Experience with content management systems and functions for publishing content on websites / apps
  • Knowledge of video & Audio file formats e.g. MP4, MOV
