Operations professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process outsourcing services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Outsourcing professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world.
 
The Business Excellence Automation Lead within Accenture will serve the North America Operations region and will have knowledge and ability to design, define, construct, enhance, support and maintain application software on one or more platforms. They work with an extended team to provide process, tools, methods, business excellence practices and training across the organization related to automation methods and platforms. Additional expectations would be to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and capability in software construction, testing, infrastructure, configuration, a wide range of system development methodologies and operating standards. They will understand how changes will affect up and downstream systems or applications. Be able to recommend standards and program enhancements. Able to debug complex and urgent problems. The lead will also provide guidance and mentoring on programming practices and techniques to individuals and cross-functional teams. They will work closely with NA SDO and BE Leadership to provide the following:
 
Responsibilities:
Performance Measurements:
  • Drive cost and quality improvements across delivery through Automations
  • Maintain roster and of FTTM and PTTM and inventory of tools in global systems
  • Guide the network of Automation Professionals (FT/PTTM – Full Time and Part Time Tech Master)
  • Organize governance and communication plans
 
Team Management:
  • Develops skills of the Full Time and Part Time Tech Masters teams in NA
  • Instructs and educates delivery leads and account management personnel on Automation techniques and best practices
  • Design and deliver related training curriculums
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management / program management experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in automating processes
  • Object-Oriented Programming (C#, C++, C, ASP.net, VB.net, VBA, JAVA)
  • Structure Query Language (Basic SQL, T-SQL(Transact SQL))
  • Database Design and Development (SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access)
  • Microsoft Office Application (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
  • Robotic Process Automations (UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism)
  • Websites (HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)
  • Machine Learning (Python, R, JavaScript)
  • Basic Networking Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data and IoT testing
  • Excellent oral and written communication with the ability to communicate appropriately with customers and stake holders in difficult situations.
  • Ability to effectively deal with multiple issues at the same time, and ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • A tenacity and patience to seek pragmatic and effective solutions with strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent networking skills and a proven track record as a good team player. Ability to work with virtual teams.
