The candidate will:
  • Demonstrate an understanding of financial services in the Federal Government and experience with IT and business transformation
  • Have an ability to proactively generate and build new client relationships and work to strengthen existing relationships at target clients
  • Identify and engage in strategic opportunities and drive new capabilities into target areas
  • Proactively drive new opportunity capture while engaging with appropriate teams across Accenture Federal Services
  • Stand up and lead resulting projects with strong delivery skills and client interaction
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Visionary with strategy and delivery focus – ranging from how ideas/offerings can disrupt/propel our client’s business to setting strategic direction, expectations with clients and supervisors to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
  • Possesses strong executive presence and credibility at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters; be a trusted advisor
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments and is comfortable with fast paced projects and high-pressure settings
  • Has the flexibility to be capable of working independently as well as managing teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture
  • Ability to enter new client environments and produce results using practical skills that are easily transported between different industries

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 years of work experience, including at least 3 working for interacting with the Federal Government
  • 4 years work experience with Financial Services (payments, banking, debt management, etc.)
  • 2+ years of proven growth experience; especially as it relates to breaking into whitespace
  • Proven ability to support business development efforts (e.g. writing proposals, structuring/budgeting case teams and work plans, identifying and supporting development of follow-on consulting opportunities).
  • Ability to influence others, and drive organizational buy-in and alignment, and facilitate change
  • Ability to facilitate senior client meetings and drive conversations with firm leadership
  • Results-oriented, self-directed, inquisitive, and entrepreneurial-minded
  • Ability to proactively push forward and shape capture opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree
  • Commercial experience


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
