The Mobile Architect provides direction to a team of engineers to stand up and manage the mobility environment including the tools and processes used for evaluating mobile technology capabilities.  Responsibilities will include managing the resources who will develop the technology strategy necessary to provide a secure mobile experience and protect critical assets from threats in the mobile ecosystem by applying expertise in strategic analysis, business architecture, and technology architecture. In addition, compile, deliver, and evangelize end-to-end technology road maps that guide the evolution of infrastructure, products, and services by applying depth and breadth of expertise in multiple related disciplines. Responsible for implementing mobile designs and approaches for this customer.  The mobile infrastructure must securely support approximately 400,000 mobile devices using the Apple iOS and Windows 10 platforms.   

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years experience and Master's or 14 years and Bachelor's or 16 years and Associate's or 18 years with no degree
  • 10 years of broad ranged systems engineering experience 
  • 7 years experience designing and documenting mobile system architectures 
  • 5 years experience managing teams of 5 or more
  • 3 years experience with mobile threat modeling, mobile security testing or mobile security mitigation strategies 
  • 3 years experience in developing design requirements for an expansive mobile device management (MDM) system, including mobile configuration management, remote device control, auditing, critical file backup, wiping, data synchronization, firmware updates, diagnostics, security, network usage, mobile asset tracking and management, device provisioning, software installation, policy application, logging, and reporting, GPS tracking and breadcrumb mapping, and geofencing
  • 1 year knowledge of vendor device enrollment programs such as Apple DEP and Microsoft Autopilot
  • 2 years knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 device management
  • 2 years experience in organizational change management

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
