The Platform Architect will apply expertise in IBM infrastructure (P Series, AIX, Logical Partioning) and IBM Product stack (WAS App Server, MQ Series, DB2) to optimize performance of mission critical system and identify ways to lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5-15 years of experience and Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years as Infrastructure lead or similar role.
  • 2+ years experience with each of the following: AIX, IBM Pseries (using Logical Partitioning), IBM DB2,  IBM MQ Messaging, IBM Tivoli Monitoring.
  • IBM WebSphere Application Server, experience/responsibility for High Availability 24X7X365 system

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ICAgile Certified Professional (ACP)Agile cert.
  • Virtualization (like VMWare).
  • Rational Toolset.
  • Cloud Platforms.
  • RedHat Linux

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
