The Technology Consulting Manager provides consultative Business and System Integration services to help clients implement effective solutions. Understands and translates customer needs into business and technology solutions via the analysis, design and/or development of best practice business changes.

 

Job Description

Industry Applications-CMT professionals design, implement and deploy packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique Communications, Media and Technology industry business and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

 

CMT-Industry Applications professionals analyze, design, build, test and deploy innovative Communications, Media and Technology industry-specific solutions that enable industry standards and processes.

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals. Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach.  Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments. Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility. Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 

Travel:  It is our intention for our people to live where they work and work where they live. However, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there may be times when you will need to travel extensively.

Basic Qualifications: 

Functional Expertise: 

Minimum of 5 years experience in the following:

• Deep understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Quote to Cash (Q2C) processes

• Strong functional understanding of business processes related to: Field Sales, Sales Management, Sales Operations, Master Data Management, Order Management, Billing

• Deep experience in multiple CPQ capabilities such as: product modeling, configuration, and rules (configure-to-order CTO, engineer-to-order ETO), guided configuration / guided selling, pricing / discounting, workflow / approvals, quoting / document generation / e-signature, contracts / subscriptions / renewals, quote to order conversion

• Leading and understanding large, complex global transformation projects

           

Technology Experience: 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the following:

• Cloud (“SaaS”) solutions and how fit into a client’s larger application ecosystem (on premise as well as cloud)

• Cloud application architectures, data models, configuration, and customization

• Application integration methods including: Web service standards (WSDL, REST, SOAP, XML), Middleware/ETL, Bulk extract/load

• CPQ platform technologies such as: Apttus, Callidus, Oracle CPQ Cloud (formerly Big Machines), PROS, Salesforce CPQ (formerly Steelbrick), Vlocity Waterfall and SCRUM/SAFE agile SDLC methodologies

• Knowledge and experience with several of the following languages/standards: SQL, SOQL, SOSL,Java, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, HTML/XHTML, CSS, XML/XSL, BML,  Apex, Visualforce

 

Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in engineering, computer science, information systems, or business)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Desired Certifications (any of the following):

• Oracle CPQ Cloud Certified Implementation Specialist

• Salesforce CPQ Specialist

• Salesforce Admin

• Salesforce Developer

• Apttus CPQ Product Certification

• Vlocity
