The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Development Sr. Analyst aligns technology with business strategy and goals and work directly with the client gathering requirements to analyze, design and/or implement technology best practice business changes. They are sought out as experts internally and externally for their deep functional or industry expertise, domain knowledge, or offering expertise. They enhance Accenture's marketplace reputation.


Job Description

SAP professionals design, implement and deploy SAP solutions to achieve defined business goals. Maintain skills in SAP applications process design and configuration; SAP application design, development, integration, testing and deployment; and SAP application technical architecture.


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and solves problems that are lower complexity and may be routine in nature, requiring varied responses depending on the situation
  • Interacts with peers within Accenture before updating supervisors.
  • Likely has some interactions with non-management levels at the client and/or within Accenture.
  • Receives minimal instruction on daily work tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments.
  • Decisions impact own work and may impact the work of others.
  • Individual contributor and/or oversees a small work effort and/or team.

Applicants must either live in the Nashville Metro area or be able to relocate.

Basic Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience with programming (Java, Javascript, .NET, etc)
  • A minimum of one year of experience with SAP Supply Chain

Professional Skill Requirements

  • Experience with MES systems /applications /interfaces /integration (operations support and/or implementation)
  • Experience with Shopfloor systems
  • Experience with EDI communication
  • Experience with SAP-MES connections (IDOCs)
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
  • Industry experience - automotive, aerospace
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
