Key Responsibilities:
 
The Business Operations Associate Manager for our Liquid Studio in Houston enables project execution by working cooperatively to create and manage a program office function. This candidate will engage key stakeholders to monitor and report on the progress of key project milestones. The candidate helps ensure the liquid studio is running as efficiently as possible by managing finances, operations, resourcing and status reporting.  This individual should have experience managing large and complex teams, and have a proven record of striving for excellence. The key responsibilities include: 
  • Manage operations for the Houston Liquid Studio and liaise with the Innovation Hub
  • Coordinate resourcing efforts by identifying, staffing, and onboarding team members
  • Balance finances by managing budgets and processing chargebacks
  • Coordinate status reporting efforts to ensure all stakeholders are informed
  • Monitor the external mailbox and process requests by responding promptly
  • Help manage the calendar of the Innovation Hub
  • Collaborate with the Marketing function to keep the Liquid Studio relevant in the market

Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Downtown Houston and be willing to commute to the office daily.
Basic Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 5 years relevant industry and functional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is required, Master’s degree in related field is preferred
  • Effectively manage administration such as time reporting, expense submission etc.
  • Engage with and work within changing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Develop and maintain open honest and trusting relationships
  • Continually strive to exceed stakeholder expectations
  • Communicate in a clear, consistent and transparent manner
  • Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment & materials provided
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment 
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
