The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer role is performed in support of a customer’s objectives as they relate to the customer's enterprise supply chain systems and other enterprise systems.  Resources performing in this role will be required to support ongoing production operations as well as new full systems development lifecycle activities for approved solution enhancements.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will perform the role in an integrated resource environment consisting of both client and contractor personnel.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will perform all responsibilities in accordance with approved processes and procedures.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will adhere to approved guidelines for work location, attire, and core hours.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will maintain acceptable professional decorum always.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Operations:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will perform many duties in support of ongoing production operations.  These duties include, but are not limited to analysis and resolution of incident and service tickets; planning, execution, and documentation of solution unit testing; solution design; solution development; and documentation of technical specifications.
  • System Enhancements:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer may be responsible for any of the activities that are or may be defined for delivery of system enhancements including but not limited to project planning, requirements elicitation, preliminary cost estimation, solution design, documentation of technical specifications, solution development, solution unit testing, and implementation.
  • Tracking:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will be responsive to the Batch Tracker/Monitor on a rotational basis.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will resolve and/or escalate tracking issues in accordance with approved procedures.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will acquire and maintain adequate solution knowledge to be as self-sufficient as possible during execution of tracking responsibilities.
  • Risk and Issue Management:  Each Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer has an important role to play in Risk and Issue management to ensure successful and timely delivery of initiatives.  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer is expected to take a proactive role in identification, formal documentation, resolution, and escalation of risks and issues to designated project leads.
  • Status Reporting:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer shall maintain and be prepared to present a status report on their existing workload, future workload forecasts, and risks/issues to their designated project lead.  This report shall be maintained and delivered in a format/location designated by their lead.
  • Escalation:  Each Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer is responsible for timely and accurate escalation to their lead.  This applies to items unrelated to project work such as system access, PTO, etc.
  • Integration:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will tightly integrate with members of the functional team, tech teams, and other teams as needs may require to ensure timely delivery of effective solutions.
  • Forecasting:  The Supply Chain Systems PLSQL Developer will provide forecasts of project effort, leave, and other work breakdown structures as may be required.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS Computer Science, engineering, or related technical degree
  • 1 year of experience with MS Office
  • 1 year of work or academic experience developing with PLSQL

Preferred Qualifications:

  • US Federal Government IT experience
  • Exposure to Systems Lifecycle Methodology
  • Exposure to Production Application Support
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes
  • Strong Facilitation skills

An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
