Satish leads Accenture's global capability in Application Security, helping our clients secure their software and product development lifecycles. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the provision of secure application development techniques, remediating vulnerable code in client application suites, protecting enterprise applications and creating safe inter-operation environments for client business systems.
With more than a decade of leadership-level tenure in IT and operations roles with global brands, Satish has delivered transformative leadership thinking and effective execution capability. He has previous experience in banking, capital markets, communications, consumer goods and services, insurance, and financial services regulation. He has served on a cyber crime advisory body, a banking regulator's technology procurement committee and the board of a leading global bank's offshore center. Before taking on his current role, Satish served as managing director for financial services, with profit and loss responsibility for Accenture’s large banking clients in Europe.
Satish has volunteered for the Cyber Crime Advisory Committee for the Mumbai Police and the IT Purchase Committee of the Reserve Bank of India. His hobbies and interests include pets and animal welfare communities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in econometrics from Ramnarain Ruia College and a diploma in systems management and business management with a special focus on IT systems from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. He also completed the High-Performance Executive Leadership program at INSEAD. He lives by the mantra: Dive right in and "breathe" the problem. Nothing has remained unsolvable so far.
