We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator for the Aerospace & Defense industry
Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Support:
Handle support tickets, and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents locally.
Investigate all reported in service issues and classify them according to their technical nature.
Address in service issues to the relevant technical teams.
Conduct troubleshooting and investigate issues using logs and the Event Viewer under central team supervision.
Assess specific difficulties with each technical issue's agreed plan and propose alternative actions if necessary
Contribute to final review and acceptance of proposed solutions
Monitor effectiveness of implemented solutions in service
2. Customer Interaction:
Interact directly with the customer, identify risks and resolve conflicts.
Development of communications with Customers / Operators (Operator Information Telex, Service Information Letters, Technical Instructions, Technical Follow Up, etc.)
Receiving queries and coordinating answers to customers. Requiring support and agreeing with them, technical solutions.
Collecting additional data and capturing in service issues
Requisitos
Requirements:
Proficiency in English (B2 level or equivalent) and fluent speaking required. Certificate not required.
Ability to work and communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
Ability to travel to France & Belgium
Skills (desirable):
Hardware:
Disk cabinet, Tape backup storage, ESXi hosts and UPS management.
Virtualization:
Manage VMWare environments through vSphere and other tools.
Familiarity with ESXi, Fault Tolerance, and High Availability (HA).
Windows Environment:
Manage Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, and Windows Server 2019 Core.
Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows DNS management, Group Policies, Security Certificates Management, WSUS, and IIS (FTPS Server).
Deploy and configure Windows-based systems.
Database Management:
Handle Oracle database administration, including export and import schemas.
Understanding and execution of PL/SQL scripts.
Networking:
Understanding the operation of TCP/IP networks
Knowledge of the operation of L2 and L3 networks
Administration of L2/L3 Switches
Other Software:
Experience with server administration for Tomcat, Apache, and Java environments is desirable.
Familiarity with Windows Admin Center, DeviceLock, Veritas Backup Exec, and antivirus signature management (Trellix/McAfee) is desirable.
Scripting:
Proficiency in Batch and PowerShell scripting.
