Role Summary
We are seeking an SAP Consultant with strong hands-on experience in E-Invoicing and Intrastat Reporting within SAP ECC / S/4HANA environments.
The role will focus on configuration, execution, production support, and compliance delivery under the guidance of solution leads and architects.
The consultant will work closely with Finance, Tax, and SAP functional teams to ensure statutory reporting accuracy and regulatory compliance across supported geographies.
Key Responsibilities
SAP E-Invoicing
Configure and support SAP E-Invoicing solutions as per country-specific legal requirements.
Work with SAP eDocument Framework (EDOC) and support EDOC COCKPIT operations.
Assist in integration with government portals or third-party e-invoicing providers.
Support testing cycles (SIT/UAT) and post-go-live stabilization.
Analyze and resolve production incidents, monitor interfaces, and support re-processing of failed documents.
Ensure proper error handling, monitoring, and documentation.
Intrastat Reporting
. Configure and support Intrastat reporting in SAP ECC / S/4HANA.
. Validate Intrastat-relevant data such as:
. Commodity codes
. Partner country / country of origin
. Statistical value, weight, Incoterms
. Support monthly Intrastat declaration runs, validations, and corrections.
. Assist in ensuring accurate data flow from SD/MM/FI documents into Intrastat reports.
. Support audit queries related to Intrastat submissions.
Compliance & Support
-Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities under defined processes.
. Assist senior resources during audits and compliance reviews by providing data, reports, and evidence.
. Follow change requests arising from regulatory updates and apply approved SAP changes.
. Maintain process documentation and KT artifacts.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
.5–8 years of SAP experience with focus on Finance / Tax / Localization.
. Hands-on experience in:
. SAP E-Invoicing (EDOC framework preferred)
.Intrastat Reporting in SAP
.Good understanding of SD, MM, FI integration points.
. Experience in AMS / Production Support environments.
. Ability to analyze incidents and perform issue resolution within SLAs.
Good to Have
. Exposure to S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
.Experience working with TAX DRC third-party tax or e-invoicing tools.
. Knowledge of SAP Notes, OSS messages, and compliance fixes.
. Strong communication and documentation skills.
