Big Data Platform Architect – AI & Data Infrastructure Lead
Singapore
Job No. 14303156
Full-time - On-Site
Descrição
About the Role
A seasoned infrastructure and platform engineering professional with comprehensive expertise across containerization, enterprise Linux, and modern data technologies. Brings deep hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift, architecting and operating containerized platforms that power mission-critical enterprise applications including Cloud Pak for Data and H2O.ai — ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across complex production environments. Backed by strong Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) proficiency, this professional is well-equipped to manage the full lifecycle of enterprise infrastructure, from provisioning and hardening to patching, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
Beyond infrastructure, brings significant capability in data observability and streaming — leveraging the Elastic Stack to deliver centralized logging, real-time monitoring, and proactive alerting, while using Confluent/Kafka to architect event-driven data pipelines that support high-throughput, low-latency data flows across distributed systems. Proficiency in Tableau further enables the translation of operational and business data into clear, decision-ready dashboards for both technical and executive audiences.
On the DevOps and delivery side, experienced with GitLab for end-to-end CI/CD pipeline management, source control governance, and release automation — driving consistent, repeatable deployment practices across teams. Equally capable of managing day-to-day platform operations — overseeing system health, incident management, capacity planning, and SLA adherence — while providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams as needed.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own the platform. Design, build, and maintain enterprise data infrastructure on Red Hat OpenShift — the foundation that tools like Cloud Pak for Data and H2O run on top of.
- Keep the lights on and scale up. Ensure platform stability, security, and performance as workloads and teams grow. When something breaks, you're the person who knows exactly why.
- Automate everything. Build and manage CI/CD pipelines via GitLab so that code changes, deployments, and configurations are tested and released reliably without manual intervention.
- Lead a technical team. Guide and support a team of engineers, making architectural decisions and setting standards for how the platform is built and operated.
- Bridge the gap. Translate complex infrastructure decisions into clear language for client stakeholders, project managers, and non-technical teams.
- Integrate and evolve. Onboard new tools and technologies into the platform ecosystem — including data virtualization, search, and visualization layers — as client needs grow.
Requisitos
Must-have:
Top 3 Core skills
1.Red Hat OpenShift – Deploy, manage, and maintain containerized environments, supporting enterprise applications such as Cloud Pak for Data and H2O.ai on OpenShift clusters.
2.Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) – Administer, configure, patch, and troubleshoot production RHEL systems underpinning containerized and enterprise workloads.
3.Elastic (ELK Stack) – Configure and manage Elastic Stack for log aggregation, observability, and monitoring, including indices, dashboards, and alerting pipelines.
Good to have:
1.Tableau – Build interactive dashboards and visualizations that translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
2. GitLab – Manage source control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps workflows including branching strategies and automated build/test/deploy processes.
3. Confluent (Apache Kafka) – Design and maintain real-time data streaming pipelines using Confluent Platform, including topic management, connectors, and schema registry.
