We are also making progress towards our goals to increase the race and ethnicity representation of managing directors in the US, the UK and South Africa by 2025.
US goals
- More than double the number of African American and Black and Hispanic American and Latinx managing directors. This will increase representation of African American and Black managing directors from 2.8% to 4.4%, and Hispanic American and Latinx managing directors from 3.5% to 4.7%.
Update: This year, among the 304 new managing directors in the US, 8% (23) are African American and Black and 6% (17) are Hispanic American and Latinx, bringing the total to 3.9% African American and Black and 4% Hispanic American and Latinx managing directors today. Among the 74 new senior managing directors in the US, 5% (4) are African American and Black and 3% (2) are Hispanic American and Latinx.
UK goal
- More than double the number of Black managing directors to 16 or more.
Update: Among the 63 new managing directors in the UK, one is Black, bringing the total to 10 Black managing directors today.
South Africa goals
- Increase the representation of African Black, Coloured* and Indian managing directors from 39% to 70%, with a focus on African Black and Coloured* representation.
Update: Among the five new managing directors in South Africa, 40% (2) are African Black, bringing the total to 50% African Black, Coloured* and Indian managing directors today.
