Summary: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions, focusing on designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members, utilizing modern frameworks, and applying agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that meet specific business requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Design and implement software components that are efficient, maintainable, and scalable. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to ensure code quality. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software development practices. - Assist in troubleshooting and debugging issues to enhance system performance. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Software Product Engineering. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with React.js. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. - Experience with version control systems like Git. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Software Product Engineering. - This position is based at our Manila office.
