Procurement Category Expert

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Lead, support and coordinate the Procurement Plus Workplace category on a Market unit (MU)/Country level:
Supporting regional target setting in alignment with global/regional/regional P+ and category goals
Accountable to implement global category strategy and sourcing agreements on MU/country level
Drive category value and excellent service while ensuring compliance with strategy and policies
Functional and managerial responsible for Procurement Specialists allocated to the Market Unit/Country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop the Procurement Plus Market Unit/Country Workplace category organization in close collaboration with Regional and Global leads,

• Assess the impact of evolving Country/MU requirements including legislative and policy changes, optimize activities and the business customer in setting up their plans, budgets, and strategies

• Lead strategic category management and procurement activities within MU’s and support category execution by leading contract implementation & driving compliance

• Manage regional/MU supplier relationships in line with Global Category, develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with key internal customers and stakeholders

• Negotiate agreements with suppliers and incorporate best practice metrics for agreements, Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimization, KPI implementation
