Here are just a few of your day-to-day responsibilities.
Identifying, assessing, and solving complex business problems within the cloud computing domain, requiring an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Performing security design reviews to assess the implications of introducing new or differing technologies, particularly within cloud environments.
Gaining experience in cloud process automation and standardization to enhance operational efficiency and security posture.
Leading the identification of a client’s high-level business needs and creating detailed functional specs and documentation, including requirement traceability matrices, work-flow diagrams, and use-cases, tailored for cloud solutions.
Designing new business processes based on customer requirements, conducting user review sessions, and running stakeholder agreement meetings, applying thought leadership in cloud transformation.
Driving enterprise business, application, and integration architecture with a focus on cloud solutions, facilitating the transition to modern, cloud-based environments.
Enabling architecture transformation, illustrating and guiding the journey from the current state to a “to-be” enterprise environment optimized for cloud technologies.
Architecting solutions in key public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, ensuring the design and implementation support the strategic business goals.
Implementing programs/interventions that prepare the organization for the adoption of new business processes within a cloud-first approach.
Participating in client presentations & orals for proposal defense, effectively communicating the benefits and strategies of cloud adoption.
Deepening understanding of public cloud vendor cost models and best practices in cost optimization and financial operations(FinOps) within cloud deployments.
Requisitos
Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Essential for foundational knowledge in technology and its practical applications.
While not required, an MBA from a prestigious institution is preferred, particularly with a concentration in Technology Management, Information Systems, or a related area, to enhance business and technology alignment skills.
Minimum of 4-7 years large scale consulting experience in roles that have demanded deep involvement in cloud computing architectures, solution architecture, DevOps practices, and integration strategies. This should include experience managing teams and projects within a consulting framework or innovative tech companies, demonstrating a capability to lead in dynamic, technology-driven environments.
Experience:
Cloud Assessment: Proven experience in conducting cloud readiness and maturity assessments, evaluating cloud solutions/platforms, and planning application migrations. Ability to design cloud operating models, develop business cases, and perform TCO and vendor evaluations effectively.
Cloud Architecture: Demonstrated ability in evaluating various cloud providers to design optimum cloud architectures that meet business requirements. Experience in developing and reviewing cloud reference architectures, defining target state architectures for both public and private clouds, and building microservices on cloud platforms including domain-driven design and containerization.
Cloud Migration: Extensive experience in planning and managing cloud migrations, validating application dependencies, and coordinating across different stakeholders. Ability to deliver cloud migration roadmaps and manage execution from a project management perspective, with a deep understanding of cloud migration patterns such as Re-host, Re-platform, and Re-factor.
Cloud Native: Experience in cloud-native application development, including design, architecture, and integration considerations. Proficiency in DevOps practices and data integration across and within cloud platforms.
Cloud Deployment: Expertise in hybrid cloud architecture design, integration, and security.
Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare, Hyper-V), and deployment architectures for SaaS/PaaS (e.g., Salesforce, SAP).
Knowledge of DevOps and Agile methodologies, cloud management platforms (e.g., vRealize, Gravitant), and infrastructure provisioning and management tools (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
Professional Certifications: Cloud architect certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred, showcasing expertise in cloud platform architecture.
Client Engagement: Experience in working with large clients in the US and UK&I regions is preferred, demonstrating the ability to manage complex client relationships and deliverables.
Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of the end-to-end infrastructure on cloud (storage, compute services, databases/warehousing, workspaces), ETL operations, data cataloging, data access management, governance, security, and the management of API/Microservices platforms.
