What would you do? We help insurers redefine their customer experience while accelerating their innovation agenda to drive sustainable growth by transforming to an intelligent operating model. Intelligent Insurance Operations combines our advisory, technology, and operations expertise, global scale, and robust ecosystem with our insurance transformation capabilities. It is structured to address the scope and complexity of the ever-changing insurance environment and offers a flexible operating model that can meet the unique needs of each market segment. You would be part of General Insurance team for Actuarial Domain, In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems for General insurance team. Performed analysis, validation of client data and making it ready for the valuation purpose after making all the reasonability checks. Performed sensitivity analysis by varying different assumptions to get a measure how much liability changes in case assumptions got changed. Understanding and management of property and casualty insurance companies that provide insurance against the loss of real property, tangible assets and/or income.
What are we looking for? • Strong experience with model data file generation, exposure databases and loss databases is required. • Hands-on programming experience with Geo-spatial database is required. • Strong hand-on programming experience with Python and .NET is required • Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Stored Procedure database development (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) is required; Experience handling large data bases is required • Experience with Big data (e.g. Hadoop) and Cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) is required • Experience with scientific or mathematical programming is required • Experience with hardcore server-side coding • Experience with Linx/Unix scripting is highly preferred • Able to think independently and creatively • Experience with responding to production business queries and issues in a timely manner • Clear and effective communication • Strong attention to detail • Excellent time-management skills and multi-tasking under pressure • Must be able to balance and adjust to changing organizational priorities • Drive to solve problems and self-motivated learning • Must be able to think outside of the box and have the ability to work in a small, collaborative team environment. • Ability to work with global teams in a collaborative mode
