You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP systems. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.
The work:
The SAP Functional WM/EWM Lead is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and deployment of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions within complex supply chain environments. This role plays a critical leadership function during discovery, design, and delivery phases, working closely with client stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional SAP teams.
The role is required to support discovery workshops and ensure successful end‑to‑end warehouse process design for a highly regulated client environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end SAP WM / EWM functional design and implementation, including configuration, testing, cutover, and post‑go‑live support
- Own warehouse business process design across inbound, outbound, internal movements, inventory management, and physical inventory processes
- Facilitate and lead client discovery and design workshops, translating business requirements into SAP functional solutions
- Collaborate with SAP TM, MM, SD, QM, and Finance teams to ensure end‑to‑end integration across the supply chain
- Provide functional leadership to onshore and offshore delivery teams, including review of designs, test scripts, and solution documentation
- Support data migration activities, inventory reconciliation, and transition from WM to EWM where applicable
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, ensuring solution alignment with business objectives and SAP best practices
Here’s what you need:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP WM and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), including configuration and business process design
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA inventory management, movement types, physical inventory, cycle counts, and stock adjustments
- Proven experience leading large‑scale SAP supply chain or logistics implementations in complex client environments
- Ability to lead client workshops and influence senior stakeholders in a structured, consultative manner
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
- Eligibility for Secret Security clearance is required
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
Bonus Points if:
- Experience with SAP TM integration, third‑party WMS, or 3PL logistics platforms
- SAP WM/EWM certification
- Experience in public sector or regulated environments
- Exposure to SAP Best Practice templates, Signavio, or process modeling tools
