Accenture offers a wide range of insurance plans so that you can build a coverage package which meets your personal needs. The coverage you elect goes into effect on the date you are hired or when approved by the carrier. They include:

Medical coverage

Accenture provides you with “Flex Credits” used to pay for the level of benefits coverage you want. Three levels of coverage are available. The plans also cover prescription drugs, vision coverage, paramedical services—such as chiropractor, podiatrist, and acupuncturist—and emergency out of country coverage.

Employee life insurance

Coverage of one times your salary with additional optional insurance available.

Dental coverage

Employees have a choice of two dental coverage options covering cleanings, X-rays and other services. Dentures and orthodontics are also covered. Preventative care is covered at 100 percent.

Dependent life insurance

Optional spousal and child coverage are available.

Long-term disability coverage

Choose between five levels of coverage to protect your income if you are unable to work due to illness or injury that exceeds 180 days.

Retirement Plans

New employees are immediately eligible to contribute to a Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (GRRSP) through convenient payroll deductions. Upon meeting the eligibility requirements, employees receive a matching contribution from Accenture to their Deferred Profit Sharing Plan (DPSP). DPSP contributions are 100 percent vested at all times.

Accenture employees enjoy generous paid time off, combined with additional company benefits that provide optimal flexibility and choice when managing time away from work.

Vacation Time

The number of vacation days is based on your level and/or years of service.

Family Leave

In addition to vacation time and sick leave, other offerings may be available for special family leave situations.

Sick Leave

Sick leave provides paid-time off when you are unable to work due to illness or injury.


We provide 11 paid days per calendar year which include statutory holidays (based on province) and additional floater days combined.

Family & working parents

We are committed to supporting working parents by offering a variety of programs, benefits and flexibility.

  • Maternity, Parental and Adoption Leave for parents.
  • Maternity and parental top-up benefit of up to 17 weeks in conjunction with Employment Insurance benefits.
  • Offering primary caregivers, both women and men, the opportunity to work locally for one year following their return from the birth or adoption of a child.
  • 80 hours of subsidized back-up dependent care for children, spouses or elderly family members.
  • An additional 40 hours of back-up dependent care is available within the first year of a child’s birth or adoption.
