The Work:
As an SAP FICA Functional Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the reimagine AMS (AD/AM/IO) program. You will serve as the primary SAP FICA and IS-U application lead, owning solution design, configuration, and delivery while partnering closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
You will be responsible for leading design and build activities, providing functional and technical guidance, and ensuring high-quality delivery aligned to SAP and ATC best practices.
- Act as the primary point of contact for SAP FICA and IS-U application design, build, and configuration activities
- Lead and contribute to solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment across SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise in SAP FICA, ensuring alignment with utilities retail and customer service processes
- Guide and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
- Support and influence key technical and functional decisions across multiple teams
- Apply best practices in design & build enablement to ensure quality, stability, and long-term maintainability
- Utilize SAP BW Front End tools (BEx Web Analyzer / Report Designer) to support reporting and analytics needs
- Continuously assess delivery programs, identify risks, and adapt solutions to meet evolving project needs
This role requires to be in the local office 3 days per week. Hiring location: Nashville, TN or Houston, TX.
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 3 years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on focus in SAP IS-U FICA (Customer Financial Management)
- Minimum 3 years in a functional lead / application lead capacity (design, configuration, delivery ownership) including proficiency in SAP Utilities Customer Financial Management (FICA)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience; if Associate's degree, minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus points if:
- Working knowledge of SAP for Utilities (IS-U) Retail & Customer Service processes
- Expert proficiency in SAP BW Front End (BEx Web Analyzer / Report Designer)
- Experience leading design & build enablement, including configuration, testing support, release coordination
- Master level proficiency in SAP Utilities FICA
- Advanced proficiency in Configuration & Release Management
- Expert proficiency in Design & Build Enablement
- Experience working in AMS / application management or transformation programs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
