As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying challenges and delivering timely resolutions to ensure smooth and uninterrupted system operations. The position demands collaboration with different teams to understand system behaviors and contribute to maintaining the overall health and performance of critical applications, supporting business continuity and efficiency.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions clearly to support knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Qlik Sense.
- Experience in developing and maintaining dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve application issues effectively.
- Ability to work with data integration and transformation processes within Qlik Sense environments.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques for business intelligence applications.
- Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders and document technical information clearly.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Qlik Sense.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
