Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or software as a service applications to meet evolving business requirements. This role requires managing application features, overseeing release processes, and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to tailor solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple teams to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Security, SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (SAP GRC).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Governance Risk and Compliance (SAP GRC).
- Strong knowledge of SAP security concepts including user administration, role design, and authorization management.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining access controls and segregation of duties within SAP environments.
- Familiarity with SAP system architecture and integration points to support secure and compliant operations.
- Ability to analyze security risks and implement mitigation strategies within SAP applications.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
