What would you do? Job Title: Sourcing & Contracting Professional – Data Services, HR & Learning Categories ### Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Contracting Professional to manage strategic categories including **Data Services & Subscriptions, HR Services, and Learning & Development solutions**. The role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the technology ecosystem (SaaS, digital platforms, data licensing, cloud-based HR systems), and the ability to lead complex sourcing and contracting initiatives. The individual will partner closely with HR, Talent, Learning, Data & Analytics, IT, Legal, and Finance teams to deliver value, drive innovation, and mitigate risk across these categories.
What are we looking for? * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, or related field. * 6–10+ years of sourcing/procurement experience, with direct exposure to: * Data subscriptions and digital platforms * HR services and outsourcing * Learning & development providers * Strong understanding of SaaS models, subscription pricing, and digital technology ecosystems. * Proven track record negotiating complex service and subscription contracts. * Strong stakeholder management experience in cross-functional environments. ## Preferred Qualifications * Experience with platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone, LinkedIn Learning, Degreed, Gartner, Bloomberg, or similar providers. * Knowledge of data privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks. * Professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, etc.) preferred. * Experience in global sourcing and multi-region contracts. •## Key Competencies * Strategic category planning * Strong commercial and financial acumen * Negotiation and influencing skills * Technology landscape awareness * Risk and compliance orientation * Analytical and data-driven mindset * Executive communication skills
Roles and Responsibilities: •### Category Management * Develop and execute category strategies for: * **Data Services & Subscriptions** (market intelligence platforms, research providers, benchmarking data, analytics subscriptions, AI/data platforms). * **HR Services** (recruitment process outsourcing, benefits administration, payroll, contingent workforce solutions). * **Learning & Development** (LMS platforms, digital learning providers, content subscriptions, leadership programs, upskilling platforms). * Analyze spend, supplier landscape, demand drivers, and market trends to identify optimization and innovation opportunities. * Build multi-year category roadmaps aligned to business priorities and digital transformation initiatives. ### Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Leadership * Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ) and competitive negotiations. * Structure commercial models for: * SaaS subscription pricing (per user, enterprise license, consumption-based models). * Data licensing agreements and usage rights. * Outcome-based HR and learning service contracts. * Conduct TCO and ROI analyses to support decision-making. * Benchmark pricing and commercial terms against industry standards. ### Contracting & Risk Management * Negotiate complex agreements including: * SaaS/MSA/SOW agreements * Data licensing and IP usage rights * HR outsourcing and learning service agreements * SLAs and performance-based contracts * Partner with Legal to manage risk areas such as data privacy, GDPR compliance, cybersecurity, confidentiality, and intellectual property. * Ensure contractual clarity on scalability, termination rights, audit rights, and performance governance. ### Stakeholder Engagement * Serve as a trusted advisor to HR, Learning, Talent, and Data leaders. * Translate business needs into sourcing strategies and commercial structures. * Present sourcing strategies, savings outcomes, and supplier recommendations to senior leadership. ### Supplier Relationship Management * Manage key supplier relationships and governance cadence. * Drive continuous improvement, service quality, and innovation discussions. * Monitor supplier performance against contractual KPIs and SLAs.
