Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. This role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed to maintain momentum. The Scrum Master actively supports collaboration and communication within the team and across departments, helping to maintain focus on project goals and deliverables. Monitoring progress and facilitating continuous improvement are key aspects of the daily routine, ensuring that the team remains aligned and productive throughout each sprint cycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance Agile practices and improve team dynamics.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress to maintain a steady workflow.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a learning environment.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.
- Experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing sprint cycles.
- Ability to analyze and report team progress using relevant metrics and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and problem-solving within a team environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in ServiceNow Performance Analytics.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
